How To Help

  • Do the basic stuff every podcast asks you to do: share the episodes with friends, or on social media. Rate and review Blogs on Tape with your podcatcher of choice. Apple Podcasts and Podbay are popular options, but any review anywhere is nice to see.
  • Donate by dropping us a few dollars on KoFi. I spend roughly $150/year out of my own pocket to maintain the hosting for Blogs on Tape. I’m happy to do it, but I do worry about how that price might go up as our episode library increases and more people start listening. Offsetting some of that cost for me is much appreciated.
  • Help expand our list of approved blogs by allowing us to read from yours! Or reach out to a blogger whose work you enjoy and ask them to give us permission. I can be reached via the emails listed on my contact page. When submitting a new blog please include suggestions for posts you think would make good reading material.
  • Let me know what posts you’d like to hear readings of! This is a much bigger help than people realize. I can only be personally familiar with the work of so many bloggers, and finding the best posts on a blog I’m unfamiliar with is a time-consuming task. I can’t guarantee I’ll read every post suggested to me, but if I can read a post I usually will! Just be sure the post is from one of our approved blogs, then send me a message directing me towards it.
